Our Story

I was invited to a paint studio in California by a friend. I told her I didn’t want to paint another canvas that looks like I painted it with my feet! It would be another disaster hung in my garage. She advised me this was different….we were going to paint silk! What?? How am I going to do that? I was intrigued. We went to Mayu Silk art in Huntington Beach. I was amazed at how beautiful these silks were – and that I made a beautiful silk by myself. It wasn’t hard or frustrating at all…..it was FUN! I was addicted! I asked if there was a studio in Las Vegas so I could take my friends and make more. They advised me no one in Las Vegas was doing this. I was on a mission! I am not an “artist” – If I can do this with great results ANYONE can!
